High Pressure Pumping

 

 

Hydra-Cell diaphragm pumps are designed to operate over a wide range of pressures, and perform extremely well pumping at high pressures. The hydraulic positive displacement pumping action maintains flow rate irrespective of high or low pressure and the seal-less design ensures that this holds true throughout the life of the pump.

High pressure pumping of abrasive, non-lubricating, corrosive liquids and recycled liquids containing solids can be done reliably because of the seal-less design of the Hydra-Cell diaphragm pump.

Many chemicals appear not to contain solid particles but in practice may contain solid crystals due to exposure to air or temperature changes. Hydra-Cell's seal-less design and horizontal spring loaded check valves enable these situations to be handled reliably at high or low pressures.

Other high pressure pumps with dynamic seals e.g. piston/plunger pumps and axial piston pumps may require frequent seal maintenance and fine filtration arrangements to keep the process running. Hydra-Cell’s seal-less diaphragm design eliminates these requirements.
